SubBioLab and Center for Karst and speleology are organizing a workshop on sampling techniques used in subterranean biology in Trebinje, 18th – 20 th March 2022. Along with students from Bosnia and Herzegovina we will visit some caves and springs on Popovo Polje and learn about sampling techniques, organization of collected samples and their determination. Through the lectures and discussions, we will present the value of collected samples for further analysis and research in relation to the better conservation of subterranean habitats. This will be an excellent opportunity to get to know the extremely rich subterranean biodiversity in the area. We are looking forward to meeting young and motivated students.
